সাল টা ছিল ২০০৯ ইং । ভাগ্যর চাকা ঘুরাতে বাংলাদেশের শীর্ষ অবস্থানকারী একটি কোম্পানিতে বিক্রয় কর্মী হিসেবে যোগদান করেছিলাম। সৌভাগ্যক্রমে এই দরজা নিয়ে আমার কাজ করতে হতো। প্লাষ্টিক দরজা, কাঠের দরজা, গ্লাস দরজা, মেটালের দরজা নিয়ে ১৫ বছর কাজ করতে হয়। এই ১৫ বছরে দরজা বিক্রিয় করাই আমার কাজ ছিল। কিন্তু প্রায়ই এ দরজার নানান রকমের সমস্যার অভিযোগ আসতে লাগল। যেমন- কাঠের দরজা বাঁকা হয়ে যাওয়া, ঘুণে ধরা, কাঠের দরজা জয়েন্টে গুলো ফাঁকা হয়ে যাওয়া ইত্যাদি। তখন থেকেই এই কাঠের দরজা নিয়ে গবেষণা করতে থাকি যে,
•কি করলে এই দরজা বাঁকা হবে না?
•কি করলে এই দরজা ঘুণে ধরবে না?
•কি করলে এই দরজা জয়েন্ট থেকে ফাঁকা হবে না?
এক পর্যায়ে আমি বুঝতে পারলাম যে, ৯৬% কাঠের দরজা প্রস্তূত কারক ই জানেন না সঠিক ভাবে কাঠ কেমিক্যাল ট্রিটমেন্ট ও সিজনিং করা বা তাঁরা খরচ কমানোর জন্য কেমিক্যাল ট্রিটমেন্ট ও সিজনিং করেন না। তখন থেকেই আমি পরিকল্পনা করতে থাকি যে, উন্নত ও খুব ভালো মানের দরজা তৈরি করার এবং কাঠের অপচয় রোধ করা।
সেই লক্ষ্যে ও উদ্দেশ্য নিয়ে “কাই প্রোটেকটর দরজা” এর পর চলা শুরু –
সময়ের সাথে সাথে মানুষের রুচির ও মননশীলতার পরিবর্তন ঘটে চলেছে। পরিবর্তনের এই নিয়ম থেকেই
